Welcome to Liam Zhang’s blog!

I’m a undergraduate student from School of SECS, Shanghai Normal University. My research interest includes urban climatology, CFD and GIS modelling, machine learning.

Research Experience

I am very fortunate to be taught by Prof. Li from Department of Urban Science and Regional Planning from 2020.06 to 2020.09.

Later, I was taught by Prof. Liu from Institude of Urban Studies from 2020.12 to 2023.06, which was introduced by Prof. Zhang from Faculty of Geography and Remote Sensing, Hohai University, and Prof. Li from Institude of Urban Studies. My research mainly focas on simulating the wind environment in density cities and saaessing tje ventilation potenticals within ventilation corridors. From 2022.01, I additionally studied CO2 concentration effected by non-uniform underlying surface in urban parks.

Resently, my research mainly focus on stimulating flow fields effected by vertical bamboo row breakwater, which is assisted by Pro. Zhang from Department of Geography.
